Huda is passionate about influencing the Middle East regions towards the path of sustainable development through strategic planning and policy. Her experience spans large scale masterplan and infrastructure projects as well as strategic city planning. Huda has worked on projects throughout the GCC, focusing on identifying, communicating and implementing ambitious sustainability targets and strategies. She has contributed to projects from visioning and concept stages to construction. She is currently an Associate at Arup, leading the Integrated Development Team in the Middle East.
Huda holds a BSc degree (high distinction) in Chemistry and Public Health from the American University of Beirut, an MSc degree in Analytical and Atmospheric Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine, and an MSc (distinction) in International Planning for the Bartlett, University College London. She is a green building professional, a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), an associate member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (AMRTPI), and a full member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (MIEMA).
